Timeless Ties

Timeless Ties is a photographic project that explores the connection between object and person through non-traditional portraiture. It highlights the struggles international students face while being disconnected from their home, family and everything once familiar. Unable to photograph my actual family, I constructed still-life compositions where second-hand and personal objects stand in for loved ones.
